The Principal’s Speech

Al-Saadah College Schools is one of the educational pillars in our country, which aims to raise the educational level for our students to keep up with and face the challenges of the present that are represented by the great development in the areas of communication and information technology. A school is a mirror that reflects the success or failure of educational systems, as well as the applied executive level of educational plans and the source of realistic educational development.

The administration is an open-minded environment and is characterized by its dynamism that helps it keep pace with environmental changes. It also does its best to balance its requirements with the needs of the society; a society that is home to the school leadership that oversees the schools of the future.

The school of the future ventures toward the unknown; its foundation is based on turning away from the ordinary, having a strong desire for adventure, and revolting against traditional methods. This requires developing the educational environment in our school and building human relations inside and outside the school in order to enable it to achieve effective performance by building a network that facilitates transforming information and by creating a team that achieves the goals desired of the educational institution.

In conclusion, Al-Saadah College Schools is one of the schools that seek to bring about the desired positive change that is consistent with the monotheistic religions and isn’t in conflict with our Arab customs and values; in order to keep pace with the scientific and cultural development, to serve our country and raise the banner of Jordan high, and to serve our Arab nation. Our school translates the hopes of parents, educators and the new generation to be an extension of our culture, the future of our nation, and a stature that raises the banners of human civilization guided by the law of heaven.

May God protect Jordan and save the king of the country, His Majesty King Abdullah II Bin Al-Hussein, and may our college remain a beacon and a lofty scientific edifice in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The School’s Principal,

Dr. Nabil Musa Kharman

SCS Philosophy

AlSaadah College Schools is an integrated scientific edifice that is designed to bring up and educate generations, as it was established to serve the community educationally and academically through sincere efforts to achieve the general and specific goals of education in all its aspects and educational and social dimensions. The school seeks to discover the hidden talents of its students and to work on developing them, within an academic atmosphere built on the foundation of responsible freedom through continuous and effective interaction between students, the administrative and educational staff in the college, and parents of students – all within set educational determinants.

The school, represented by its management and academically qualified teaching staff, is working hard to achieve its philosophy by instilling morals and faith in the hearts of students to build a national character that is keen on the prosperity and progress of this country within its Arab surroundings and its continuous openness to the outside world through many channels of communication with different civilizations in the world. AlSaadah College Schools cooperates with all official and non-official institutions that can contribute to preparing a conscious and educated generation of young people who are able to absorb all that is new and avoid the various risks that they may be exposed to. That is because we care about developing the educational aspects, in addition to the humanitarian, moral, cognitive, and empathetic aspects within the values of the local community in its customs and traditions, in order to achieve the following goals:

  • Providing an appropriate academic and educational environment that enables students to develop learning and teaching skills to keep pace with the developments of the twenty-first century.
  • Building the integrated personality of the student in all its physical, mental, psychological, and spiritual aspects.
  • Developing a patriotic, national, and religious sense among students.
  • Working on the intellectual aspects of the students by relying on constructive scientific thinking.
  • Building a sense of responsibility among students through positive practice

The School’s History

Al-Saadah College Schools is a great dream started by the late Georgette Abu Zaid with sincere educational efforts that were transformed into a small kindergarten in Al-Lweibdeh near Luzmila Hospital. It included classes from Kindergarten to 1st grade; its establishment was in 1958 as the first and only kindergarten at that time in Jordan and the first educational institution owned by an individual until the academic year 1959/1960.

This dream grew with great awareness, realization, and responsibility by the visionary, so the kindergarten moved to Al-Abdali near the Police College, with grades up to the 6th grade. Al-Saadah Kindergarten was one of the first private schools in Jordan. In 1964, the founder -the late Georgette Abu Zeid- married the late Musa Ibrahim Kharman, and that’s when the great dream and the strong will came together with the educational experience that uses modern methods to form a distinguished educational and scientific edifice.

In 1968, the two founders purchased a land near the Ministry of Interior to put up the current building –that only had one floor- that included Kindergarten up to the 6th grade. The school had a special boarding section for expatriate students from the Arab Gulf states; it continued its hard work and sacrifice until 1970 when the boarding section was closed. Due to the sincere determination and genuine desire to raise and upbring generations, another section was built on the second floor to include the secondary levels from the 1st level up to the 3rd level. In 1978, new classes were added to increase the number of students due to parents' confidence in the school administration and educational staff.

In 1986/1987, grade 11 for girls was established, and the kindergarten building was separated from the school building. Then in 1988, grades 12 and 13 for girls were founded and the first girls’ troop graduated from Al-Saadah Secondary School, as it was called back then.

In 1993/1994, the third floor was added for the boys' section from the 7th grade to the 12th grade -scientific stream- and the first boys’ troop graduated in 1996/1997. By then, the school had become a secondary school for boys and girls. In 2002, the achievement was fulfilled by changing the name of the school to the new one, which is Al-Saadah College Schools.

The 2023 academic year will be celebrated by lightening the 65th candle in our school led by a management that is aware of the details of the educational process led by its principal, Dr. Nabil Musa Kharman, who has proven since taking over the leadership that he is the best successor to the best predecessor for the late founders Georgette Abu Zaid and Musa Kharman.
