The Science Lab

AlSaadah College Schools is keen to develop scientific skills and take care of the applied aspects of the school. Education that is done at the laboratory develops higher mental abilities that include analysis, synthesis, and conclusion based on scientific facts. Therefore, it was necessary to keep pace with the modern directives in teaching science, which depend on the practical application of laws, hypotheses, theories, and other scientific results, so that the students acquire technical skills for manual laboratory work and expand their scientific horizons in all science subjects that qualify them -in the future- to integrate into the job market as active learners.

In order for us to provide these skills and experiences, three laboratories have been equipped in our school, which are the chemistry and physics lab, and the biology and earth sciences lab. These labs are equipped with all the laboratory equipment, tools, and solutions necessary to conduct laboratory experiments, in addition to providing these laboratories with smart interactive screens in order to reach our desired goals towards the advancement of science and knowledge. In each laboratory, scientific experiments of the lessons in the curriculum are applied with the aim of increasing, consolidating, and deepening the understanding of these lessons in the minds of the students by applying them practically and manually; so that the student develops the skills and trends of scientific thinking and the use of science and its technological applications. When the students themselves practice scientific activities and experiments, they become able to formulate procedural models and definitions, interpret information, and develop their critical thinking skills.

In addition to unleashing the aforementioned laboratories to be one of the scientific platforms that support the educational process, which is not limited to the implementation of methodological experiments related to the textbook only, we skipped this stage and jumped with our students to the stage of discovery and innovation, allowing them to implement everything that comes to their minds through the “AlSaadah College Schools Science Club”. This club provides the necessary tools and devices to carry out their experiments under the supervision of the supervisor of the science laboratories. This will lead to the creation of a conscious generation whose skills qualify them to be one of discoverers and inventors, who possess a high degree of scientific thought in the field of discovery and invention.
